The N64's launch window and the games that defined it.
The Nintendo 64 launched in 1996 with Super Mario 64, Pilotwings 64, and Saikyo Habu Shogi. Mario Kart 64 and GoldenEye 007 followed in 1997. Star Fox 64 and Ocarina of Time defined 1997 and 1998. These titles made the N64 one of the most beloved Nintendo consoles ever.
